My college studies included classes at U.A.B, Memphis State, University of Alabama, Auburn, and I graduated With Honors from The University of Louisville. I began my teaching career in Alabama, where I taught elementary school for 15 years. After a family transfer to Kentucky, I was a substitute teacher, did volunteer work for several charitable organizations, and enjoyed raising and training horses on my "Old Kentucky Home Farm" in Versailles, Kentucky. In 2000, I moved to my "retirement home" on Ono Island in Orange Beach. I soon realized I loved this area of Alabama, and wanted to share it with others who would love it as much as I.
